摘要：An arrangement for sealing or sound-proofing cavities, for example in theregion of the chassis or car body of motor vehicles, comprises two half-shells (1, 9) whichare separately produced and can be locked together, and which form in the interlockedstate a free, outwardly open ring-shaped gap in an outer, intermediate peripheral edgeregion (5), the ring-shaped gap being inwardly limited by an inner contour (2) on one ofthe half-shells (1, 9). The expansible moulding (8) shaped as a contoured annular washerhas a form which substantially corresponds to that of the ring-shaped gap formedbetween the two half-shells (1, 9) on their outer wall. The arrangement according to theinvention is material-saving and can be produced and mounted at low cost.
