Teaching Aims and Demands:

Where is… It’s / Where are…. They’re…. Can use the prepositions of the places. How many … are there…?

e.g. Zhang Lin’s desk is in the middle of the classroom. 3. The library is on the left of the playground near the school gate. On the right of the classroom building is the dining hall.

on the left / right (of ...), 介词短语, 表示方位, 意为“在(……的)左边 / 右边”, 常用来描述人物或事物之间的位置关系。如: e.g. The boy is on the right.

这个男孩在右边。

The bike is on the left of the car. 自行车在汽车左边。 Step 9 Writing

1. Look at the sentences and summarize the usage of the pronouns.

it用来代替单数名词或不可数名词。 they用来代替复数名词

2. Look at the sentences and find the short forms.

it is缩写为it’s. is not缩写为isn’t. they are缩写为they’re. are not缩写为aren’t

3. Do some exercises about the short forms. Answer the questions about your school. A: Where’s the …?

B: It’s behind/ in front of/ in the middle of… A: Is…behind/ in front of/ in the middle of…? B: Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.
