摘要：The invention relates to an arc extinction device for SF6 insulated electricalswitchgear.
A divisional arc chute 58 comprises a wall 58 with a convex revolution lateral surface,notably spherical, opposite the separation area 20, 22 of the contacts 20, 22, so as to forman acoustic resonator reflecting the pressure waves inwardly, causing the gases toconverge towards the center of the sphere. At least one of the contacts is hollow andconstitutes an outflow duct, for the gases from the arc chute 18 to a discharge chamber.
